Thornaby Chess Club – new venue
Please use the contact page if you have any chess events to promote in Lancashire. Clubs have been asked to submit a paragraph or two, as we open up from the confines of Covid-19. It will take a while before all clubs are back up and running again. We have no teams in the Bury and Rochdale League but again because there is no league at the present. As part of our series of updates as we come out of the Covid pandemic and get back to normality, a few clubs have already started with getting back to some normality.

All are welcome to come and play Chess, new to chess or from other Chess clubs. We have been having a regular attendance of up to ten players each week. Please note that next Tuesday, the Latvian club are holding the TEAM LIGHTNING competition. This is a five board competition and is played at ten seconds per move.
